Scientific collaborator, Ph.D. in Computer Science (EPFL)
Before joining the AlbaSim team, Jarle has been assistant professor at University of Geneva, interim director of the Software Engineering Laboratory (EPFL) and founder of the company EcoStarter GmbH.
Member of the AlbaSim group since 2015, Jarle does R&D in the field of software simulations and serious games for educational purposes. He develops new simulation scenarios for active education. He also contributes to improving the “Wegas” online authoring and gaming engine.
Teaching: Software Engineering and Project Management at graduate and undergraduate levels.
