The PNR77 synthesis report is available: discover AlbaSim’s contributions to digital transformation
The synthesis report of the National Research Program “Digital Transformation” (PNR 77) compiles the findings of six years of research conducted across Switzerland.
Resulting from a broad academic collaboration launched by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF), the PNR77 assessed the opportunities, challenges, and impacts of digital transformation on our society, economy, and education system.

AlbaSim’s Contribution to the PNR77
We actively participated in this national collaboration as the project leader of the co.LAB Project. This research, conducted in collaboration with the University of Geneva, led to the development, implementation, and evaluation of the “co.LAB Serious Games Design Framework” which supports collaboration among teachers, developers, and researchers in the design of digital games and simulations for educational purposes.

The PM-Game in Australia: First use at Monash University
In Melbourne, Monash University has incorporated our PM-Game into its curriculum. This is the first use of the simulation on the Australian continent.
Developed and maintained for over 10 years by AlbaSim, the PM-Game allows learners to experience project management in a simulated environment.
This collaboration illustrates the growing interest in educational simulations beyond Europe. We thank the faculty and teaching staff at Monash for their trust and wish them success in their future simulation sessions.

Serious game for Major Events Medical Management
Ten paramedics, chief rescue officers, and representatives from the Advanced Medical Post unit are testing the tool for creating major incident scenarios. These scenario-design interfaces make it possible to create digital simulations of crisis situations such as accidents, fires, or terrorist attacks, enabling emergency professionals to prepare for the management of these exceptional events.
